Industrad Capabilities
Inventory
- Scan trays of inventory quickly and in bulk to compare to current stock.
- Scan batches of items as they pass from person to person in processing.
- Scan items removed from vault/control room. For additional security create employee ID tags and scan these along with merchandise removed.
- Each item is assigned a unique ID, therefore each item will have the capability of reporting its own unique history of transactions. This allows for quicker resolution for missing items.
- Automatically process invoices by scanning purchase orders. PO reference information is automatically pulled from a special PO label that is scanned together with the items that have been picked. Warnings can be generated when items are found that do not belong in the order.
Search
Find an item within a large batch of trays. The user enters a style number he/she is looking for then feeds trays of items into the reader. As soon as the item is found the user is notified on the screen. For more detailed information on how the Industrad search function can be used in your jewelry business.
Shipping
- Sealed boxes can be scanned through the reader once more to verify the contents match the invoice.
- Packing slips can be generated with specific item IDs to certify the contents of the package.
Sales lines
- Sales line trays can be scanned multiple trays at a time to transfer goods to a sales rep or receive goods back. Optional discrepancy report may be generated after receiving goods back.

- Scan items quickly as they move from person to person by simply placing the items along with tagged employee badge in the reader.
- Capability of reporting unique history of transactions for each item, allowing for quicker resolution of missing items.
- Use prefix digits in ID to identify different tag/label types. For example: use prefix 1 to signify a PO label, prefix 2 for jewelry tags, prefix 3 for poly-bag labels, etc. This will offer you greater control when assigning functions to tags and allow for easier filtering.
